Building materials sourcing in China for companies

For distributors, project buyers and fit-out companies: we identify and compare suppliers and coordinate samples, specifications, controls and deliveries so the material arrives as agreed and when the site or warehouse needs it.

We coordinate purchasing and supply. We do not carry out structural validation, engineering calculations or installation.

Who it is for

Who we work with

Companies that buy material in volume or by project lot and need compared suppliers, clear criteria and coordinated deliveries.

  • 01

    Distributors and wholesalers

You need to extend your range or secure continuity of references with compared suppliers.

  • 02

    Project purchasing

Refurbishments, developments or hospitality with defined lots, a schedule and several product families.

  • 03

    Fit-out companies

Bathroom, kitchen, joinery or furniture with your own specifications and recurring batches.

  • 04

    Recurring purchasing

You already import and want to keep references, suppliers and criteria consistent between orders.

Indicative categories

We can assess these categories according to the specifications, intended use and scope of the project:

  • Wall and floor coverings
  • Bathroom fittings and taps
  • Joinery and finishes
  • Home and fit-out products

Lighting and other electrical products require a review of their specific regulations according to their design and intended use. Structural elements need a specific technical review of their suitability for the project.

What we coordinate

From the requirements list to delivery on site or in the warehouse

We coordinate suppliers, samples, specifications, documentation, controls and logistics according to the agreed scope.

  • Requirements sheet

Measurements, references, intended use, quantities and schedule as the basis for the search.

  • Suppliers and samples

Manufacturer comparison, sample requests and review of shade, finish and dimensions.

  • Tolerances and batches

Tolerance criteria, finishes, shades and batch continuity agreed before production.

  • Performance and documentation

Which tests, declarations or technical sheets must exist for each product and use, and who provides them.

  • Packaging and transport

Palletising, protection and transport resistance, with agreed checks before shipment.

  • Consolidation and deliveries

Grouping of several suppliers and delivery planning around the site or warehouse schedule.

Journey

How a materials purchase moves forward

Each stage sets a verifiable reference for the next.

  1. 01

    Requirements sheet

Measurements, references, intended use and schedule.

  2. 02

    Supplier selection

Comparison by product family and capacity.

  3. 03

    Samples

Shade, finish and dimensions against the reference.

  4. 04

    Specification and tolerances

Acceptance criteria and continuity between batches.

  5. 05

    Documentation per product

Tests, declarations and sheets according to intended use.

  6. 06

    Production and controls

Agreed checks and packaging before shipment.

  7. 07

    Consolidation and delivery

Grouping, freight and receipt on schedule.

Seven-stage journey: requirements sheet, supplier selection, samples, specification and tolerances, documentation per product, production and controls, consolidation and delivery.

An aesthetic sample is not a certified performance

Both matter, but they answer different questions. Before ordering, it helps to know which one you need for each product family.

Agreed reference for the order
  1. 01

    Aesthetic sample

Shade, texture, finish and dimensions compared by eye and with basic instruments.

  2. 02

    Technical performance

Strength, absorption, slip resistance or other characteristics that require testing and documentation from whoever performs it.

  3. 03

    Batch and logistics

Continuity between batches, packaging, palletising and transport resistance to destination.

Diagram: the agreed reference for the order brings together three different checks: the aesthetic sample, the certified technical performance, and the batch with its logistics.

What you receive during coordination

Depending on the scope agreed in the proposal, the operation may include:

  • Supplier comparison by product family
  • Samples and approved references with shade and tolerance criteria
  • Documentation status per product and open points
  • Control plan and evidence of the agreed checks
  • Production, consolidation and delivery schedule
  • Shipping and import documentation

Quantities, specifications and the schedule are agreed in writing; suitability for a specific use is determined by the project, its technical team and the product documentation.

What we take on and what we do not

What we coordinate

Suppliers, samples, specifications, quantities, required documentation, agreed controls, consolidation and deliveries, with each party's responsibilities set out in the proposal.

What we do not do

We do not carry out structural validation, calculations, site management or installation, and we do not provide our own engineering services. Those decisions belong to the project and its technical team.

Regulation: not everything shares the same framework

Construction products and fit-out products do not necessarily follow the same rules. We review with you the intended use, whether a harmonised specification exists and which regime applies to each family before defining the documentation.

Guide: importing building materials and home products from China
  • Regulation (EU) 2024/3110 progressively replaces Regulation (EU) 305/2011. Requirements coexist during the transition, and neither all obligations nor the digital product passport are universal or immediate.
  • Not all housewares, furniture or fit-out products carry CE marking: it depends on the legislation applicable to each product and its intended use, not on the commercial category.
  • We coordinate the required documentation with suppliers and specialists and check that it is consistent with the intended use and that it is clear who provides it.

Quantities, prices, lead times and samples are set per operation

They depend on the supplier, the product family, the packaging and the transport. Delivery and logistics terms are defined for each operation in the proposal.

Frequently asked questions about materials

01Can you help me select the material for a specific project?

We start from your requirements sheet and the project specifications to locate and compare suppliers. Technical suitability for the intended use is defined by the project, its technical team and the product documentation.

02How are samples and batches compared?

Shade, finish, dimension and tolerance criteria are agreed against an approved reference. Batches are compared with that reference before shipment under the agreed control.

03Does everything carry CE marking?

No. It depends on the legislation applicable to each product and its intended use: many housewares or furniture items do not require it, while others need specific documentation.

04Can you consolidate several suppliers into one shipment?

Yes, when the operation allows it. We coordinate production, collection and consolidation schedules to reduce partial shipments.

05Can you plan deliveries around the site or warehouse schedule?

We can coordinate production and freight with the planned dates. Specific lead times depend on each supplier and route and are agreed per operation.

06Do you handle one-off or recurring orders?

Both. A one-off order is coordinated as a closed operation; for recurring purchasing we keep references, suppliers and criteria consistent between orders.

Next step

Do you have a project lot or a range to supply from China?

Send us your requirements sheet or the references you are working with and we will propose the scope: supplier search, coordination of a project lot or recurring supply.
