Data we process
We process the data you provide through the contact form, by email, via WhatsApp or via LinkedIn: identification and contact details (name, company, email and phone), professional information and any project information you choose to share, including attached documents. By providing data you confirm it is accurate and that, if it includes third-party data, you have their authorisation. When you send us an enquiry and you have consented to the corresponding measurement, we may also record technical and provenance data associated with it, such as the page through which you entered the site, the page from which you send the enquiry, the referring website and, where applicable, the campaign that originated the visit.
Purposes and legal basis
We use your data to: (a) handle your enquiry and prepare the initial assessment of your project, based on pre-contractual measures requested by you (art. 6.1.b GDPR) and your consent when submitting the form (art. 6.1.a GDPR); (b) manage the business-to-business commercial relationship, based on our legitimate interest in keeping in touch with professional contacts (art. 6.1.f GDPR); and (c) send you information about our services where a prior relationship exists or you request it (art. 21.2 LSSI-CE). You may object to this last use at any time. These purposes relate to handling commercial enquiries; measurement of enquiry origin is described in the following section.
Measuring the source of enquiries
If you have accepted analytics technologies and subsequently submit an enquiry, we may associate certain source information with that enquiry, such as the page through which you entered the website, the page from which the form was submitted, the referring website or, where applicable, the campaign that generated the visit. We use this information to understand which channels generate enquiries, assess the effectiveness of our commercial activities and improve the way we present our services. We do not use this information to make automated decisions about you or to create profiles for personalised advertising. Access to and storage of information on your device for this purpose only takes place where you have accepted analytics technologies through the cookie settings panel. You can withdraw that consent at any time through "Cookie settings". Once an enquiry has been submitted, our internal processing of source information associated with that enquiry is based on EC HolaHome, S.L.'s legitimate interest in measuring the effectiveness of its acquisition channels and improving its commercial activity. We aim to limit this processing to the information strictly necessary and do not use it for personalised advertising or automated decision-making producing effects on the individual. You may object to this processing at any time using the channels described in the "Your rights" section.
Web analytics
We use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google, only if you accept analytics cookies in the settings panel. It allows us to obtain aggregated statistics on how the site is used (page views, navigation and main interactions) in order to improve the site and our services. The data you enter in the contact form — name, company, email, phone, project description or attachments — is never sent as parameters to Google Analytics. If you do not accept analytics, Google Analytics is not loaded and its cookies are not installed. You can change your choice at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer.
Free import starter kit and downloadable resources
If you request the free import starter kit, we process your email address, the sector you optionally indicate, the language of the site and, if you have accepted analytics technologies, the source category of your visit (for example organic search or direct access). We use these data to send you the requested resource and to keep a record of the request, based on the provision of the resource you request (art. 6.1.b GDPR). The download link is personal and expires after 7 days; the email copy is sent through our transactional email provider, acting as a processor. Separately, you can tick an optional box to receive occasional tips and news from EC HolaHome about importing from China. This sending is based on your consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR), is never required to download the kit, and can be withdrawn at any time by writing to info@holahome.es or, where available, through the unsubscribe link in each email. We record the version and date of the consent text you accepted. We keep the request record for a maximum of 24 months from your last request or download of the kit; after that period, a daily automated process deletes it. Consent for news is handled separately: we keep it until you withdraw it or, at most, 24 months without a new request or renewal of consent, at which point it expires automatically. Downloading the kit does not by itself extend consent for news. Requesting the kit does not classify you as a sales lead and does not trigger individual follow-up from our team.
Import cost estimate by email
The import cost calculator runs in your browser and, by default, we neither receive nor store the figures you enter. Only if you use the "Email me my estimate (PDF)" action do we process your name, your email address, the figures of that estimate, the language of the site and the date of the request, in order to generate the PDF, send it to you and keep evidence of the request (art. 6.1.b GDPR). The form includes two optional boxes, unticked and independent from each other, which are never required to receive the PDF. If you expressly ask us to review the estimate, we process that request in order to contact you about it and notify our team internally; the request is kept as evidence that you made it. If you tick the updates box, we process your email address to send you tips, news and services about importing from China on the basis of your consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time by writing to info@holahome.es. We record the date, version and exact wording of each box you tick. If you tick neither, we only send you the PDF you requested: no updates and no commercial follow-up. Downloading the PDF again neither extends nor reactivates a withdrawn consent. The PDF is generated on our servers from the figures recorded and is delivered through a private download link that expires after 7 days; we store only a cryptographic fingerprint of the token, never the address in the URL. The email is sent through our transactional email provider, acting as a processor. We keep the request record for a maximum of 24 months from the request, and a daily automated process deletes it afterwards; the token record is removed 30 days after the link expires. The data of the estimate are never sent to Google Analytics.
Retention period
We keep the data while your enquiry is being handled and, where applicable, for as long as the commercial relationship lasts. Afterwards it remains blocked during the limitation periods of the applicable legal obligations, and is then deleted.
Recipients
We do not share your data with third parties except where legally required. To provide the service we use technology providers (web hosting, email and management tools) acting as processors under art. 28 GDPR. Some of these providers may be located outside the European Economic Area; in that case, transfers are covered by adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
Your rights
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability by writing to info@holahome.es, indicating the right you are exercising and attaching information that allows us to verify your identity. If you believe the processing does not comply with the regulations, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration.
Minors
This website and our services are addressed exclusively to companies and professionals. We do not knowingly process data of minors.
